How to compress with WINZIP ?
 

      LES PAGES JAUNES ELECTRONIQUES allows the reading of four types of information:

• GENERAL INFORMATION

• INFORMATION PAGES

• MULTIMEDIA SHOW

• WEB PAGES

      If the user prefers to carry out himself these files and to send them by email , he does not have any expenses to pay. But that supposes that he knows certain technical constraints. This page is devoted to this kind of constraints.

 GENERAL INFORMATION

      The preceding page contains a form where one can add information of general nature (NAME, ADDRESSES, TELEPHONE...). If you already filled this form, you can continue the reading.

      If the user wishes to include an unspecified text in the electronic phone book, it must initially safeguard it in the format text, then compress it with a utility such as WINZIP (the capacity should not exceed 1.5 MB) and send it with the following dialog boxes: Give to the Zip file name the access code given at the inscription.

      LES PAGES JAUNES ELECTRONIQUES accepts all kinds of graphic   formats. The most used are: JPG and GIF.The ideal proportion of the image is of 4x3 and the best resolution is 800x600.

      If you prefer animations, convert them with format AVI initially. The files sounds can be with format WAV or MID. There are utilities making it possible to create sound files and to divide a file into several parts. (the size of the files to be downloaded should not exceed 4096 KB). We recommend WINAMP and FILE SPLITTER to do that work.

      It is the most interesting option offered by the site. The user, if he wishes it, can host  free his pages in our domain and send .html files and the images composing the site so that any person using our software can read them without being inevitably connected on Internet (see notes for more details).
